Wavelength '67. 2003. video, color, sound. 45 minutes
With this video I remade Michael Snow's classic experimental film Wavelength as I had envisioned the movie prior to seeing it. The film is often misleadingly described as a "continuous zoom taken from a single fixed camera position." In reality the film consists of a zoom frequently interrupted by edits and a series of events. My version of the work is an almost imperceptible, continuous 45 minute zoom with a soundtrack consisting of a 45 minute long tonal crescendo.
