Giving the appearance of an interactive multimedia work, Turn ons, turn offs is a feedback system in which a box fan's wind blows open a plastic door triggering a motion detector which turns the box fan off. The fan shares power with a record player on which a Ventures (wind = vent in French) LP spins on and off. This work was produced in collaboration with Donald Rich.
