The final solution. 2006. 12 panel comic strip

In 2006 the Iranian newspaper Hamshahri “launched a competition asking people to submit cartoons about the Holocaust.” The 12 best submissions were to be published in the paper and the winners were to receive gold coins. I responded to the competition by creating a 12 strip series titled The final solution. My comic features the Prophet Muhammad, whose likeness was borrowed from a controversial cartoon that appeared in the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten. The final solution was submitted to Hamshahri in March of 2006, unfortunately it was never selected for publication.
